How do I export my data?
Open Settings → Export Data. Moodery generates a CSV file containing all your energy logs, mood entries, notes, and day facts. You can share it via any app on your device.
How does iCloud sync work?
Toggle iCloud Sync in Settings → Integrations. Moodery uses your personal iCloud account via CloudKit — Apple’s own sync infrastructure. No Moodery server is involved. Your data syncs automatically across all devices signed into the same Apple ID.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Moodery works fully with manual logging alone. An Apple Watch adds passive health signals — sleep duration, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and activity — which improve episode detection accuracy. You can enable Watch integration in Settings → Integrations.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual entries by swiping left on any log in the timeline. To remove all local data, uninstall the app. For iCloud data, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Moodery → Delete Data.
What does episode detection do?
Moodery analyzes your daily patterns using four independent detection strategies. When multiple strategies agree that your data matches a depressive or hypomanic pattern, an episode is flagged with a confidence score. For a detailed explanation, see our Research page.
Is Moodery a medical device?
No. Moodery is a personal tracking tool for self-awareness. Detected patterns are statistical estimates based on your data and should not replace professional clinical assessment. Always consult a healthcare professional for diagnostic or treatment decisions.
