Overview

Moodery is a personal energy and mood tracker. It has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Your data is stored on your device and optionally synced through your personal iCloud.

We do not collect usage analytics, device identifiers, IP addresses, crash reports, or any telemetry.

How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored on-device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud sync, your logs are synced through your personal CloudKit container — Apple's infrastructure, encrypted end-to-end. Raw HealthKit data stays on-device only and is never synced to iCloud.

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • •Displaying daily logs and timeline
  • •Computing episode detection confidence scores
  • •Generating charts and insights

Your data is never used for advertising, behavioral profiling, data mining, or sale to third parties.

Third-Party Sharing

Moodery shares no data with any third party. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no server-side processing, and no external network calls beyond Apple's own iCloud infrastructure.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export a full CSV of your data from Settings at any time. Individual entries can be deleted directly in the app.

To delete all local data, simply remove the app from your device.

To delete iCloud data: iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Moodery.

HealthKit

Moodery accesses HealthKit data exclusively for health management purposes, in compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines. Health data is never used for advertising or data mining. Health data read from HealthKit is processed on-device and is not stored in iCloud or transmitted to any server.

Children's Privacy

Moodery is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
